Rick G. Winling is an experienced trial attorney whose practice focuses exclusively on criminal defense. During the course of his career, Rick has earned a reputation for exceptional legal reasoning and a professional demeanor.
Rick has defended thousands of clients on nearly every type of charge–both felonies and misdemeanors–including drug charges, sex offenses, OUI, domestic violence assault, and theft. Rick has also authored three appeals to the Maine Supreme Judicial Court, also known as the Law Court, on behalf of criminal clients.
Rick graduated summa cum laude from the University of New Hampshire in 1996, with a degree in Communications. In 2001, he graduated from the University of Maine School of Law.
Rick originally attended the University of New Hampshire on a baseball scholarship and played centerfield. In his free time, he enjoys surfing and playing sports with his son and daughter.
