Prior to practicing Estate Planning and Elder Law, Mark served the people of Maine as an Assistant District Attorney in York County for six years. During his time as an ADA, Mark worked closely with many of Maine’s finest judicial authorities and has gained a network of attorney relationships throughout the State of Maine. Mark was in a general private practice handling a variety of matters including bankruptcy and criminal defense for the first three years after law school.
Mark graduated from the University of Southern Maine, in 2003, with B.A. in Political Science. He then attained his JD from Western New England University School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts, in 2006 and LLM in Estate Planning and Elder Law from WNEU School of Law in 2015. Mark is admitted to practice in all Maine Courts and U.S. District Court for the District of Maine.
The father of an adult son, Mark lives in Portland with his wife, a step-son and their two dogs. He is on the Board of Directors of Make-A-Wish Maine, and enjoys staying active by playing on a variety of co-ed sports teams.
