Patrick H. Gordon has more than 18 years of experience in both criminal and civil litigation. A former prosecutor, Patrick has tried more than 300 cases before judges and juries, giving him profound insight into Maine’s legal system.
In his career, Patrick has successfully prosecuted and defended thousands of cases. Criminal cases he has handled include homicide, arson, sexual assault, domestic violence, burglary, and OUI. Patrick has also utilized specialized FBI training in computer forensics and other forms of technology such as cell phone data analysis.
Since joining Fairfield & Associates, P.A. in 2014, Patrick has broadened his practice of law beyond the criminal arena, to include representation of clients in family matters and protection from abuse cases.
Patrick served the State of Maine in both the York County and Aroostook County District Attorneys’ Office for 14 years. He has argued before the Maine Supreme Judicial Court and may well hold the Maine state record for the most trials in one day (21 speeding trials).
As an attorney in the York County District Attorney’s Office in 2013, Patrick helped secure both a “guilty” plea from Kennebunk Zumba Instructor Alexis Wright and a conviction of Mark Strong, who was involved in the Zumba case.
In his free time, Patrick enjoys cooking and playing football and softball.
