Karen E. Wolfram offers her clients the benefit of more than 16 years of both criminal and civil litigation experience. She has represented clients at all stages of proceedings, including jury trials and on appeal to the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. She is licensed to practice in both Maine and California.
Karen is passionate about representing indigent clients in criminal, juvenile, and child protective matters. In that capacity, she has represented clients from coast to coast: from Fresno, California to Portland, Maine.
Over the years, Karen’s practice has expanded to encompass a wide variety of legal fields. She has represented clients in personal injury claims, probate matters, and both simple and complex civil litigation matters including medical malpractice, breach of contract, insurance litigation, bad faith, defamation, employment discrimination/whistleblower retaliation, litigation against banks involving negligent and intentional misrepresentation, and legal malpractice. While continuing her work in both the civil and criminal fields, she has further expanded her practice to include estate planning.
Karen graduated cum laude from Northeastern University in 1995 with a degree in criminal justice. In 2000, she received her juris doctor from California Western Law School in San Diego, where she won awards for pro bono service and academic achievement.
Karen is dedicated to her family and is an active member of her church and community.
